The first part of FURTRoe project entitled “Investigation of dried rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) roe production as functional food supplement” supported by TÜBİTAK (Project no:113O894) has been started in February 2014.
Thefirst aim of this project is to determine a suitable drying method that will be cheap and will not effect roes initial nutritional quality.
Thesecond aim of this project is to produce dried rainbow trout roe that will keep its initial nutritional quality up to 5 months in room temperature storage conditions.
